Dr. Pollock has special interests in dementia and other cognitive disorders, headache, Botox and sleep disorders. She lectures regularly on these topics and in 2014 had a book chapter published entitled “Micromineral Considerations in Alzheimer’s disease“, where her original research in Alzheimer’s disease was also published. Dr. Pollock is also the Medical Director of the Madonna Ptak Alzheimer’s Research Center at Morton Plant Mease Neuroscience Institute, and is the Chief of Neurology at Morton Plant Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology’s subcommittees on Behavioral Neurology and Movement Disorders. Dr. Pollock has acted as Principal Investigator in a number of research trials, both in-hospital and out-patient, for various conditions.
She was one of the first, if not the first, to utilize Botox in Pinellas county for neurologic disorders. She has trained other doctors in Botox injection techniques.
